Dance Recital

Ellie had a dance recital on Tuesday. She did great and I was so proud of her. I couldn't believe the difference between this recital and the last one, when she sat in the middle of the floor and acted goofy the entire time, refusing to dance. She was definitely the star of the show!

Ellie, Jeremy, Grandpa Jeff, Grandma Kris, and I went to the Race for the Cure on Sunday. Ellie had fun wearing her bunny ears all day. She called herself the Big News Bunny, don't ask me why because I have no idea! I asked her if she had fun at the race and she said, "I had some tough times." I think her favorite part was getting a vanilla milk at Starbucks afterward.

Trixie

Ellie got to bring Trixie the Turtle home from preschool. They had a blast together. While we were baking Halloween cookies, I asked Ellie if she thought Trixie would like to have a bite. Ellie replied, "Mom, it's just pretend." Ellie and Trixie spent the day at Grandpa Jeff and Grandma Kris's office, and later went to Denny's for some dessert.

Jeremy bought Ellie a portable CD player for her birthday. She calls it her ipod. Now she can listen to the High School Musical 2 soundtrack all day long.

Ellie and Joely

Ellie loves to annoy Joely as much as possible. The other day she wrapped her in felt, and Joely actually stayed there and took a nap!

Listening Ears

This picture is a couple months old but it is too hilarious not to post. Ellie's Sunbeam class learned how to be good listeners, so they all made "listening ears". The entire class wore them and it looked so funny when they all walked out.
